In many communities, equitable access to high school work-based learning remains limited due to barriers like lack of employer participation, transportation, liability concerns and more. Examples from around the country, though, prove that progress is possible. This session will explore a new report that details how educators, businesses and policymakers in several states are working together to implement innovative solutions to work-based learning challenges for young people.
Specialists will learn how to help their students create their own unique narrative to colleges, employers and stakeholders. They will learn techniques and resources to help them use social media platforms as a tool to create a competitive advantage.
