About me
Kaylee Guidry, a native of Walker, Louisiana—a suburb of Baton Rouge—pursued her higher education at Northwestern State University, where she majored in Organizational Communications. During her collegiate years, Guidry excelled in softball, earning Southland Conference Tournament MVP and being a two-time All-Southland Conference performer. She currently holds the program's highest career winning percentage.
Raised in a large extended family with numerous coaches and educators, Guidry was inspired to follow in their professional footsteps. She is now entering her seventh year as an educator and her third year as a JAG Specialist. Recently, she received the Core Value Medallion from St. Amant High School Principal Christina Carter, in recognition of her embodiment of Ascension Parish Schools' core values: leadership, service, learning, and teamwork. Principal Carter remarked, "Her passion and leadership shines as she impacts the next generation of responsible citizens."
